On the install of the premod there was a tab to install BBCodes.

Go into \install_portal\install_bbcode.php
search

Code: Select all

         case 'Plain 0.1':
         case 'Plain 0.2':


after add

Code: Select all


         case 'Premod 0.2':



Save and exit. When done run from the bbcode tab again.

Sorry but it's not really clear to me
But how to review posts added to the knowledge base in the new premod?

[Edit] Set the permissions for the moderators of course ...

But I have a problem trying this as the settings are persistently saved in the database
IIRC thois was also a problem with the old premod? And the solution was to alter table content manually, or was it an index or something

The second tab will install the plain portal and only this on a fresh phpBB3 (this step is needed first on fresh install)!
Tab "UPGRADE PREMOD" can only be used if a existing Plain is available already and have to be done as second step (on a existing Plain this is the first step to do)!

As clearly stated in the install guidelines, my fault
Maybe change the second tab to "install plain" to make it more clear?

This works via MCP for non active articles. To have those options on hand MCP access for KB must be added through Module management -> Moderator Controle Panel -> create new module "Knowledge Base" and add all Knowledge Base [kb_mcp] entries into.

For all other occasions you can edit the article.

I still get the same error as before. Strangely enough the number of tabels in the db for the premod has the same number of tables as the plain so my guess is that none of the premod tables are installed at all due to this error.

You should have a whole bunch of tales called something like phpbb_dl_*

For your reference I have 105 tables after I have installed the premod
Suggestion: Start from scratch and make sure to run both "install" and "upgade premod" as stated in the installation document?

What version number does your portal show?
If "Premod 0.2" the tab "Upgrade Premod" will not work!

What does happen if you use tab "Upgrade Remove"? Are you able to remove all database entries?

If all above fail change portal's version number back to "Plain 0.2" and try again.
